Yes, that worked. It is a little more work than just an option to select.
I forgot that I had Catalogs disabled.
I could not figure out why I could not find the Catalog, then I found the shortcut: **Ctrl+F8** under **Configuration > Other > Features > Catalog**.
Once the Catalog was displayed in the bottom-left corner of XYplorer, I right-clicked and selected **Insert as New Category Here > Tabs**.
I initially built Favorites using the tab locations, but that did not work very well. Favorites add the full UNC path instead of a short folder name, and there does not appear to be an option to assign a short name to a favorite. I think I would prefer using Favorites if short names were supported.

In Tools | List Management | Favorite Folders... you can prefix a caption and an icon to the path of a favorite:
Code: Select all
"Lists|List.ico" P:\Documents\ListsFAQ | XY News RSS | XY X

Re: Vertical tabbar and labels
I do not see an option available to change the indicator color (grey) located on the left of the active folder.
I believe it would also be beneficial if we could have a indicator color below the active folder, aside from the current indicator above.

Re: Vertical tabbar and labels
I mostly use catalog for launch apps, so didn't pay much attention, still i remember there was a topic where indicator customization was discussed and changed to grey. I'd say this topic proves that indicator could benefit at least a tweak for customizing color, cause indeed it doesn't serve good when lots of items are listed in the catalog.
