However, I optimized the code, so you shouldn't experience any delays. It would have been interesting to get down to the cause of the delay, but it's potentially still a long road (given the long delay, I'm sure it must be network-related). I currently have no time for this, unless it's still not fixed.

3 Days of uptime; No hang in sight. Sounds like if the root cause wasn't fixed, it was certainly sidestepped.

Quick FYI; I can work around the issue by force closing and reopening; However I've noted a handful of times within the last week that this issue does still occur.

I don't know that it's the same problem; But the failure mode and visual output are the same, however the times I've experienced it thus far were all related to search/replace renames, with > 5 folders. However, both times XY became non-responsive and I force closed it.
