minor bug I think?
minimise to tray on close does not work every time even though set in config.
Tried an older version 6.80.117 and it is different - works!

1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

I thought you would say that and I have been trying to find a condition whereby it does not work but it is very hit and miss. The condition when it is wrong is that it leaves XY in the task bar as though it is minimised and shows XY in tray.
After repeated reloads of XY eventually one will display this error or oddity.
Maybe it is a windows thing, after all windows is very odd!

further tests
this may be a way of making it happen
restore to by clicking task bar entry
close via X - leaves task bar entry - ie bug?
restore by clicking tray entry
close via X - works - no entry in task bar
load XY as minimised

Okay, these two will show XY in taskbar AND tray after startup. Minor bug. And tell you what: I will tolerate it till after holiday.graham wrote:startup min - ticked
