1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Vietnamese diacritics lack of (đ)/(Đ)

Post by Stevi0us »

When enable setting "Ignore Diacritics" in "Type Ahead Find" and "Live Filter Box", XYplorer does not work with letter (đ)/(Đ). Other diacritics work just fine.

"Ignore Diacritics" in "Color Filter" work correctly.

The Vietnamese alphabet contains 7 letters using four diacritics: ⟨ă⟩, ⟨â⟩, ⟨ê⟩, ⟨ô⟩, ⟨ơ⟩, ⟨ư⟩, and ⟨đ⟩. There are an additional 5 diacritics used to designate tone (as in ⟨à⟩, ⟨á⟩, ⟨ả⟩, ⟨ã⟩, and ⟨ạ⟩).

1) XYplorer v28.30.1400.
2) Windows Win 11.
3) Screen Scaling 100%.

Me too,
This bug seems to happen only with letter đ / Đ, not with any other VN characters.
Happens with Visual Filter and Quick Name Search also.
I am using XY x64 28.1 on Win11.
I'm a casual coder using AHK language. All of my xys scripts:
