No paste option to Samsung phone.

Post by ClintE »

First, 1.000.000 thanks for making Xy available as 64bit. :appl:

My phone shows up in the tree as a phone icon named Galaxy XCover5 and uses Samsung Android ADB interface.
When I try to copy from my pc to the phone, there is no paste option in the context.
Both Windows file explorer and XYplorer 32bit have the paste option and copies to the phone without problems.

Yes.
I just tried to tick it, apply, untick it, apply. Still no paste option.

And maybe I should add that I can paste to any USB flash...

Is that the shell context menu? Got a screenshot of that menu?

Yes, it is the right click context menu.

The left screenshot is XY 64bit
The middle screenshot is XY 32bit
The right screenshot is XY 32bit with "show 64bit context"

All screenshots are taken under equal conditions.

I just tried with XY 32bit 27.20.04, with 32bit context and 64bit context, no problem.

Which folder on the phone did you right-click, and was it in the tree or in the list?

Well, I get the Paste command in all context menus for folders on my phone. 32-bit, 64-bit, all working fine. So I'm afraid I cannot do much about it. Must something specific with your OS and/or phone.

Of course, you still can use Ctrl+V or XY's native context menu (Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Usability | Context Menus | Native context menu).

Thanks for trying.
I will just use ctrl+v unless I can narrow down the culprit.
Did you also use the Samsung ssudbus.sys driver?
Maybe your danish translator "Regmos" do not know that you have created a 64bit version, there are untranslated items.
I hope he has not retired, he made excellent translation, and now with the Win11 100% useless file explorer, XY 64bit is a lifesaver
