27.90.0041: sort order is reset when chaning folders

(I am not certain it started with v41, but it must have been introduced fairly recently. I downgraded to find out - but v38 did not start properly, so I gave up my research)

I'm was walking through folders and noticed that changing sort from "Name" to "Modified" is reset when I entered a subfolder - this totally threw me off as I was expecting sorting to be persistent across folder changes. Or are these early signs of dementia?

This involved a newly created folder. Unless there is some auto-saving of FVs, it should not have had a FV. But your question led me in the direction of "Automatically apply Default Folder View" which I found checked and unchecked immediately. No idea how that got checked
