Preview pane size change

XY v27.90.0009,Window 11 upto date

Set preview panel to a size, close XY when opened next the panel is set to narrow not the size when closed or to no pane.

With 56 views and no comments I suspected that this cannot be replicated by others. After must messing with Windows I found the culprit.

Change Settings>System>Multi Tasking>Snap Windows to off and the “problem” goes away.
You can make of it what you wish.

What exactly do you refer to by "preview pane"? Which command do you use to show or hide it?
