:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Can't schedule jobs

Post by davanden »

Just today, Xyplorer has stopped allowing me to stack backup jobs. When I try to set up the second one after starting the first one, I get a message that says "Cannot start a foreground backup or custom copy operation while another is in progress. Tip: Enable Background processing in Configuration/File operations." When I try to follow the tip, I see a message that says "Background Copy Handler: XYcopy.exe 2.10.0267 found but you need at least v2.10." When I try to update Xyplorer, I'm told "Your version is up-to-date. You are running the latest official version 27.00.0800." It may be relevant that just before this all started, I ran an update, which failed. I don't know why. See the attached screenshots for the specific error messages. What do I do to fix this?

Download:
https://www.xyplorer.com/download/xyplo ... nstall.zip

Extract it, open the Task manager, make sure, no XYcopy.exe processes are running (if so, kill them) and overwrite the XYcopy.exe file with the one from the extracted .zip (do it with Windows Explorer!)
