The 'Save folder view' function is good enough for hammering down a bundle of folders.
However, since it requires manual saving and I don't often open many tabs, I frequently lose track of folder settings.
For example, I usually set up a new project structure each week that evolves daily, and I prefer not to manually save it every time.
It's too many if all goes in the 'Folder view settings'. This spot shall given to the special good boy.
It would be convenient to automatically save the folder view by creating a 'something.ini' file in AppData, similar to saving a thumbnail but for the folder state.
Accidentally losing the folder state would be acceptable(because this is not the 'save folder view setting'), so a backup isn't necessary. It's like an expendable, large list that only pulls data when needed.
People likely don't prefer creating desktop.ini files in every folder. Soooo.....
Anyway, This is a feature I always cherished when using Windows Explorer.
Thank you for listening!
