Running into double click on right pane folder issue and has been present for some time over many releases. I am running 26.50 atm.
Scenario.
I will document this in screen shots.
I am sitting at shot1 (screenshot attached) (btw, this forum tool needs to accept ctrl-v of graphics screen shots and not resort to the primitive attach files)
When I double click on right pane folder I am taken to shot2 (screenshot attached). What the heck?
Why isn't it taking me to the contents of the HCL folder?
If I use the left pane to navigate and select it, it opens the folder fine.
FYI, the folder HCL is just an example of what this thing does. It could be any folder I double click on.

Re: Double click takes me where?
Not a bug.
You probably don't click directly on the HCL label, but somewhere in the empty space to the right of it. By default, double-clicking on the empty space will take you up one level.
These are your options:
1) Click directly on the HCL label.
2) Enable Full name column select: Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Usability | Mouse | Full name column select. This way you can click on the full name column.
3) Enable Full Row Select: Tools | Customize List | Full Row Select. This way you have the whole line to click on.
