Recent Location and Show Icon command ?

Post by MonkeyButt »

What is the command for, recent location pin ?

Tree Path Tracing has an option to show icons, although I'm looking for a command as to show the icon for a selected folder.

Right click the icon; tree path tracing. There you will see, recent location pins & show icons. I want to access these individually as to have the icon show for a folder in the tree.

Keep in mind when you ask for help that XYplorer is massively customizable, so talking in riddles isn't productive.

Now I am still only guessing, but I assume you mean the toolbar button, so do you want to turn off icons in the tree, but have 1 icon visible only for the folder you are currently in? If so, not possible. Or do you just want to toggle the features you mentioned on/off completely but not from that menu? If so then these are the cmd numbers, you can add to custom toolbar btns etc.

#391; // Show Icons in Tree
#418; // Recent Loc Pins

That is exactly what I want to do although it can't be done.

Technically you could get close via CFI by having all normal yellow folders set to a blank icon, and the selected folder be a different icon, but the icons for folders set via desktop.ini eg. Downloads would still all show their normal icon (unless create individual rules), and the List (and rest of UI) would display normal folders with no icon too. It would take you creating many CFI entries to achieve it, and the result may not be desirable in the end.
