:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Using mouse to get into rename mode

Post by mwb1100 »

Am I supposed to be able to get into rename mode by single clicking on a file/folder that is already selected? This works in Explorer and I would swear that it used to work in XY, but no longer (running 7.10.0015).

Hi,

can you have a look if the following options are checked:

- View | Tree Style | Rename On Slow Double-Click
- View | List Style | Rename On Slow Double-Click
OS: Windows 11, 64-bit, Version 25H2, Build 26200.8655 (10.0), AMD64
Monitor: 1/2 (Primary) Primary Screen DPI: 96 (100%)

Thank you - that was it. I looked in the Tools/Configuration... dialog, but did not look inthe View menu.
