XYplorer doesn't show icon of files

Post by lalandwonder »

Hi,

I have XYplorer installed, but it does not display icons for other files.

As a comparison, I also installed Directory Opus and it displays the icons just fine.

It's GTJ files in the first screenshot, and LNK files (shortcuts) in the second. What are the target files of those LNK files?

.LNK is the icon for other normal software programs.

I will try to fix the LNK issue. Two questions:
1) Do the links work when you double-click them?
2) What is the full target path of that LNK called "Adobe Photoshop 2024.lnk"?

The GTJ file extension is probably installed incorrectly by the GTJ software and only works when listed in a 64-bit process. You can work around this by defining the icon yourself using Tools | Customize File Icons....
