Preview of some video files is not working

My issue looks nearly fixed, except I now get a quick flash of a "Active Movie window" opening up every time I open the preview pane/panel or switch files with it already open, it was hard to catch an image of it because it flashes so quick, but I caught the screenshot below, if you look closely you'll see it. I am not sure if this is just happening since the error msg I purposely invoked, but it now happens always in all instances, I'll need to restart OS soon to find out but can't currently. The other issue I am now seeing is that the video is not taking up the whole video frame there is a black border, but the video outer frame looks the correct dimensions.
There is also a weird situation where the window controls get shown over the video on mouseover, in the second screenshot you can see an example of this which also illustrates the actual playback size and the frame size being different.

I think all the issues will go away if you can stop that ActiveMovie Window showing up.

Looks really good in in .0511, everything from my last post is fixed , but just for completeness I should mention that occasionally with the preview pane/panel already open I select a file and the video frame doesn't show, unselecting/reselecting the file works most times, or sometimes it requires selecting a different file and coming back to the original one, or sometimes toggling the preview pane on/off a few times keeping the file selected. I rarely use video preview so it may have always been like this on my HW, I have an old GPU.

No I can't find a pattern using normal preview mode.

I do have a small issue I think could possibly be related though that I will try to make a repro script for via SC preview, I need some more time to put it together, I'll get back to you. Below is what it looks like, it shows an unrelated thumbnail under the video frame and if I click on the small sliver visible at the top I get a MDBU of the rear thumbnail, which is for a different file, so there is occasion where 2 preview types can be in the panel simultaneously, my theory is this could possibly be why I get a blank pane sometimes in normal preview mode.

Ok, managed to purposely invoke issue via SC preview, here is repro script:

  preview quicksearch("*.png /l=1 /f", <get specialfolder 39>), tf32;
  preview quicksearch("*.mkv /l=1 /f", <get specialfolder 14>);

Hopefully the random image it finds is larger vertically than the video, otherwise just put in a full path, also after running the script you'll notice that if you resize the preview pane the image changes to a much smaller size, not sure if that matters, since once other issue is fixed it won't be visible anyway.

The blank pane thing is still happening to me though and I just noticed something about it I hadn't earlier, when the pane looks blank if I resize the pane or the XY window it flashes up with the actual video frame, and at certain sizes I can get it to show the whole video thumbnail normally, although the play controls never work when this situation happens, (I always have AutoPlay disabled during testing). Anyway I can't sense a pattern for repro, I am just giving some info while on the subject.

mkv and mp4, I haven't really tested others since I don't use them regularly.

I have a problem with thumbs again. This time I've noticed it only happens when using branch view (I only use the "files only" mode). If I browse each folder the thumbnails are created without problems. Once I get this error all the thumbnails created so far are messed up, see pic.

I tried setting PreviewEarlyFactory from 0 to 1 and 2 to no avail. Offending file is 806.02MB big.

Yep, just tried it and the thumb was created without problems.

Tried to reproduce now and it's not happening anymore, I haven't even rebooted so I don't know what triggers it.
I've tried with other files and most of them work without problems, but some show the same error message as before.

EDIT: Updated K-Lite to latest beta version and it seems now it doesn't happen anymore, will see if it happens again.
