Silent close in recent beta versions

Post by jupe »

I managed to make repro steps that induce a crash for me 100% of the time.
  1. fresh
  2. Ctrl+B
  3. Right click tree background to pop favorites menu
  4. click anywhere to dismiss menu
  5. Alt+F (or Alt+O) Most menus are causational
  6. Hover mouse randomly over popped menu
  7. result = crash
Hopefully you can repro, and this resolves the other crashes too, because I have also had crashes while random dialog boxes were open.

I was able to duplicate the crash also by hovering over and around my assigned right click on white in tree menu script. Not any more with beta 25.90.0140. Thank you jupe and Don.

Just as a data point - I'm having the same problem with v25.90.0136. I'm glad it has been found and fixed. I'll download the latest now.

Thanks
