25.80.310 BETA
Re: 25.80.310 BETA
Yes, I was going to add, it does look like the toolbar (all items) since the menu items do not have the accelerator key underlined. I looked at mine in that state (by that I mean with no icons on row #1) and the two toolbar lines appear to be the same width. What are you using for toolbar font size? You obviously have a bolded font. Experiment to see if that makes a difference. Mine is Segoe UI, Size 8 Regular, no bold.

Re: 25.80.310 BETA
Hi klownboy
Thanks for the suggestions. I tried several of those around button font size and it made no difference.
I also upgraded to 314 - and still got the small icons for the internal XY toolbar icons and normal size for the others.
(Somewhat) interestingly, after downgrading from 314 to 309 (the last one that ‘worked’ for me), I always get a NEW box which comes up “You appear to be downgrading” and it comes up EVERY time I start XY. Very annoying!

Re: 25.80.310 BETA
You did say previously the issue only affects the XY built-in toolbar buttons and the problem started with beta 25.80.310. What is your button size and zoom factors? Don would need to know the following from XYplorer.ini.
ToolbarCTBNoGDI=0
ToolbarLarge=1
ToolbarCaptions=0
ToolbarCaptionLines=1
ToolbarPushEffect=1
ToolbarScrolls=0
ToolbarWraps=0
ToolbarStyle=1
; Tweak: zoom factor for main toolbar (0.5 - 8 )
ToolbarZoom=1
ToolbarNoScale=9
; Tweak: factor of separator width (2 - 10)
ToolbarSepFac=0
; Tweak: min width reserved for the element (e.g. addressbar) next to the toolbar
ToolbarKeepOff=400

Re: 25.80.310 BETA
Could not reproduce it even with these settings, but found and fixed a similar problem that might be related. So maybe it'll be fixed in the next beta.

Hi Don, just for my info, what is the effect of
ToolbarNoScale=9
if any? My ToolbarZoom=0 and ToolbarLarge=1, so does ToolbarNoScale have any affect?Windows 11, 23H2 Build 22631.3447 at 100% 2560x1440
Re: 25.80.310 BETA
Nope - not fixed. But at least now I don't get the box about Downgrading when I start XY!
Guess I'll just stay on 309.

Re: 25.80.310 BETA
Just forget it. It's misnamed and has no function. I'll remove it.

Nope - same result. Below is a more highly magnified image of the small ínternal' icons compared with the normal-sized 'external' ones:

Re: 25.80.310 BETA
Thanks, that helped. I was able to reproduce and fix it now. There was a lot of mess at 225%. Now it's gone.
