v25.50.0103, the new CEA scripting function, as eil stated, will be very useful for scripts where you have to interact with existing CEA scripts whether it's to turn them off (i.e., CEA Action block to "None") or changing the CEA script from accomplishing one action to a different to accommodate a different scenario (i.e., actually changing the script or script file referred by the CEA). Really good stuff. :tup:

Customizing photo overlay captions => nice addition. It's worthy of noting, you can also toggle them with thumbsconf(",,,,,,!,");
So, you could have that one liner script as a CTB or UDC.

+ Dark Mode: Added tweak DarkTint to add a tint to the darkness. Try 220 for blue, 120
for green, 20 for brown.
DarkTint=220
Allowed values are 0 to 360 (0 = no tint).
Pretty stuff! But i think it should be raised to UI. Users, especially dark-mode fans, will definitely like this setting, though most(who don't track changelog constantly like us, geeks) will not know the tweak exists.

If you're not reading the change log it is just as unlikely that you find the setting in the UI by accident. :whistle:

  +++ Multi Line Toolbar: Now you can have as many toolbar lines as you want. Just press
      New Line in Tools | Customize Toolbar.
      Especially nice: In dark mode, you can now have a dark menu bar above the buttons
      (while hiding the original menu bar).
      ...
Very nice addition. Thank you, Don!

Code: Select all

v25.70.0117 - 2024-03-20 10:54
    + Configuration | Colors and Styles | Highlights & Dark Mode | Dark mode: Added a
      small dark mode preview.
    + Configuration | Colors and Styles | Highlights & Dark Mode | Dark mode: Added
      dropdown "Color tint (0 is neutral)". Use it to select a color tint (1 - 360) for
      your dark mode, or set it to 0 to remove all color tint.
    * Configuration | Colors and Styles | Highlights & Dark Mode | Dark mode | Adjust to
      OS light/dark mode at startup: Moved the option to page Configuration | General |
      Startup & Exit.
As always Don not only adds good improvements, but makes it even better than expected = that small preview is handy!
Yet know, even without checking changelog or knowing feature was added/exist, anyone who would want to adjust some dark mode settings will definitely stumble upon this thing.

Cool idea the "Bookmarks"
I just started to explore the possibilities. Also, glad one can add internet links too. (Would be nice if it could acquire the favicon.)
Very useful for networking.
So a big thank you.

Man...
This software is GREAT. I love it. But the bookmarks is a disruptive feature! I didn't realize that I was needing it so much!
Thanks, your job is fantastic!!!
