FortiGuard quarantining XYPLorer as malware

Post by einzelheinz »

Hi hate to say it, but another Virus-Scanner classifies XYPlorer as malware:

FortiGuard / FortiClient classifies various versions of XYPlorer.exe as W32/VB.RHU!tr.dldr

https://www.fortiguard.com/

I saw in some other similar post that the dev team might contact the virus tool providers and wanted to put this info out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Best Regards.

Thank you. It's a false positive, of course, and usually goes away on its own within a few hours.

If you can't set exceptions for XY
you are using the wrong antivirus solution.
Windows 11 Home x64 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3527)
Portable XYplorer (actual version, including betas)
Everything 1.5.0.1373a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.3.3, Listary Pro 6.3.0.73
