Column size changes after tab change

Lets say I have made the columns setup like this for every folder (without a Saved View):

This is the size of the "Name" column I want.
Then, I go to another column that has the view setup to thumbnails:

OK. Now Back to the previous one:

The name column is changed to a different size (not the current default, not any of my presets)

Some more info is that I use the "Custom Event Actions" to trigger the tree view reset (#1040) on tab change.
But, even if I turn this off, the problem remains.
Any idea?

Oupssss!!! Totally missed your reply.. Really sorry.
And no, it is not ticked.
BTW the "Remember list settings per tab" is checked.

Oh, I see that's on a tab change, not a view change. That's even stranger. It MUST have something to do with Custom Event Actions...

Other than the #1040 on tab change, the only other Custom Events are: Double-click on tab > #348, #1040 and Middle-click on file > Select in new tab > button "rename";

Another interesting thing is that if from a Details tab (DT), I switch to a tab with thumbnails that has its Folder settings saved (TTFS), it will return to the Details tab (DT) without changing the size of the name column.
If the thumbnails tab has no Folder settings saved (TT), returning to the Details tab (DT) will change to column size..

Also if I DT > TT > TTFS > DT no change.
If I DT > TTFS > TT > DT the size changes.
So it has to do with the last tab before the DT change..

Apart from CEA I don't see a way to explain it (with your Column settings).

Since I use XYplorer in portable mode, I renamed the data folder and opened up the app.
Created two specific tabs (1st one in Details, 2nd one in Thumbnails) and started experimenting.
After a lot of copying/checking/comparing I found that the problem's appearing because of the pane.ini
Most of the lines didn't make a difference, but the two that did where 130 and 133.
If I change them from the working file, it remembers the sizing as it should.
But it looks more complicated than that, and since I don't know how you use them, I leave it up to you to find why..

If you replace your pane.ini with one of mine (after you change the paths to something existing of course) it should work.
Just try it..
