Is it possible to use sounds for events in XYplorer to bypass the built-in volume control?
So that the built-in volume control only affects audio and video files, but not event sounds.
Maybe there is an option to do this optionally in the settings menu?

Re: Event sounds
I can make it so that the volume is controlled by the volume of the system notification sounds (the Windows "System Sounds" volume control). This would actually make sense IMO. Is that what you meant?

Re: Event sounds
Yes Don, thanks! This is what I meant. Now Xyplorer event sounds do not depend on the volume control when playing media files.
P.S. It would be nice to improve XYCopy so that it correctly handles the movement of files and folders from system directories.
For example, when using XY Copy, moving files or folders from "C:\Program Files\" causes an error because XYCopy cannot delete files (folders) in "C:\Program Files\". In this case, no UAC prompts are displayed on the screen.
Can't run XYCopy as Administrator when it requires elevated privileges?
