Yes, the tree has focus. I clicked on folder, Agent downloads in the tree and the first shot above is what I get. I get the same result in other cases where the first folder in the list panel is empty when I click on its main folder in the tree. In the screen shot, I clicked on "Kindle Books" in the tree. All the folders in the list pane are currently empty.

I don't know how you do that. Seems impossible. :? (To me this looks like the list has the focus, but I don't know how you defined your colors.)

That color code is from this thread -in this post viewtopic.php?p=210622#p210622 which has the frame. Your own post here viewtopic.php?p=210624#p210624 was without the frame
B:prop:#contains.desktop.ini:1 AND B:prop:#itemcount:1;B:prop:#empty:2 //folders empty, or containing only Desktop.ini, but it's interesting that the same view looks like with your color code without the frame. Last item clicked is in the tree "Kindle Books".
same with with no frame - focus in tree view with list folders (empty).jpg

If it may help.

Hm, I think this is all a misunderstanding. From the code POV it's simply not possible that the list shows a focus rectangle when the tree has the focus. We should probably just close this here.

As I said up front, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. So what I'm seeing (i.e., a focus rectangle around the first file or folder in the list) when the last item clicked, whether it's the root drive or any folder, is in the tree as shown below is not what you see at all. So, if that's the case, I wonder what setting or tweak I have would be causing that. Though it doesn't really bother me...I think it's always been like that.

Got it. You probably set this tweak:

Code: Select all

SetFocusTo=1
The focus line you see is normal. One item always has the focus, and by default it's the top item.

Hey thanks Don, my value was set at "15", the sum of all the locations. When I set it to "0" the focus in the list is gone.

Did any of all this good stuff get implemented in the latest non-beta?
I was so looking forward to that?

Reading the change log will answer when each change was implemented and if your non-beta version has a higher version number, you should have the change/feature as well. :whistle:
