[SOLVED] <shift>+<del>: deselects any multi-selection

Post by Filehero »

With 24.00.0400 triggering a multi-"extinction" using <shift>+<del> will reduce any prior multi-selection to only one selected item before entering the "extinction route".

shift+del is permanent deletion aka extinction.

Hm, on my current (second) machine it works normally, all selected files stay selected and get permanently deleted. Needs another look on the other one. I will report back then.

With 24.00.0503 I still saw this on "this" machine, even with fresh.

After some thinking and hunting: Hooray!

The culprit was the Enable "Delete" key-setting in Seer which I use as an alternative preview app. After unchecking everything is back to normal. :-)
