XY was in the background, had not used it for some unknown period of time (8-20 minutes = guess) then clicked into the List View and the following error (XY still executing).

Re: Subscript out of range
FINALLY!!!
I assume this is the mysterious crash bug that some users have reported off and on over the years. Now we finally caught it due to the special debug compilation we have since v23.80.0002 - 2022-11-24 14:51. Easy to fix. Next beta.

Re: Subscript out of range
Hi to Don!
I too, have been getting basically the same error since abt v23.6, and perhaps even in 23.5. Currently using v23.8.0300 ,,,Seemed to be consistent with use of a usb 3 external drive with my laptop. By 2 weeks ago, it showed up steady everywhere, previewing a folder by hovering over icon, clicking to freeze list, then as soon as I moved in to select anything, boom.
Sorry for the rambling description, I don't know how to phrase it properly. Here's my error:

I did some searching a few weeks ago, found it referenced when you were chasing it years ago, but didn't see any error codes about 'Font'. Could have missed anything, including an elephant in the room... I'm a pretty old fart... I did play a lot with it, found how to make it work every time, or fail everytime, regardless of where I was located in the local hard drive... I'll be glad to see it go, and my God, man! This XY has reached such an amazing level of constant pleasure, ease of use, etc, words just don't do it justice... Saved me countless hours, and at my age, I'm very grateful, and very humbled at what you accomplished, Don! Kudos!
