Full Row Select Breaks Tree Path Tracing
Full Row Select Breaks Tree Path Tracing
I just want to let you know that when Full Row Select is ticked it breaks the Tree Path Tracing when 64-bit context menu is used. This usually happens when the folder has 1 or more subfolders which have been opened in the list and Lock Tree is selected.

Hmm, cannot make it happen here.

Re: Full Row Select Breaks Tree Path Tracing
That's maybe because you did not open via the list. First make sure to lock the tree. Then try opening a folder via the list (not tree). If it works, then try opening 1 or 2 subfolders via the list side and then right-click on any folder on the tree side within the Tree Path Tracing range. On 32-bit context menu, it works fine. However, when 64-bit context menu is selected then it breaks the tree path tracing.

Ah, I see it now. And I can also see it with the 32-bit menu.

Should be fixed in next beta.

Re: Full Row Select Breaks Tree Path Tracing
I have noticed some new behavior that is similar to the OP where if you lock the tree the nodes disappear, is that an intentional change? I put a wide trace in fresh just to make it more noticeable, this needs to be enabled to repro:
Configuration | Colors and Styles | Highlights & Dark Mode | Tree path tracing | Mark nodes

Side-effect of the recent fix. Should work better in next beta.

Re: Full Row Select Breaks Tree Path Tracing
Could you please also include the highlight to remain on the tree after I right-click on a folder on the tree side? This seems to work only on 32-bit context menu, but for some reason it disappears completely for 64-bit context menu.

Re: Full Row Select Breaks Tree Path Tracing
Not possible. It's because the 64-bit process runs asynchronously.

Re: Full Row Select Breaks Tree Path Tracing
But can you at least apply the same sort of highlight colour like there is on the list? I'm asking because on the list side there is actually some sort of highlight after you right-click on a file or folder.

Re: Full Row Select Breaks Tree Path Tracing
No. In the list the node is permanently selected, in the tree it's only temporarily selected.
