Color Filter Broken = Refresh

Post by Zardoz2293 »

Currently tested and exists in v23.60.0012 - 2022-09-12
---

Entry into folder, refresh or F5 on a folder containing folder(s) which is/are empty and having a color filter of "size:0" will NOT update the colors correctly. Only works if you edit the color filter an apply it (effectively making no change) or you performed an F2 (inline rename).

Last known working correctly (for me) in = v23.40.0001 (2022-07-30)
MacOS Tahoe v26.5.2
VM (Client): Windows 11 Pro (AArch64), 25H2.26200.8894 (10.0)
Windows Display: Main=MacBook 4112 x 2658 @200%; External 3840 x 2160 @125%

I haven't tested your bug report, but you should probably use this filter instead: prop:#empty:2 anyway.

Untick this: Configuration | General | Tree and List | Show cached folder sizes only

I'll give that a try. HOWEVER, as I described my concern regarding the behavior (1) it's now not consistent; (2) the "size:0" worked for many years (not claiming this is the ideal).

Without me performing any testing, is "prop:#empty:2", significantly FASTER and/or reliable? (if you know)

Thanks!

Anomaly still exists with most current build (v23.60.0014 - 2022-09-13) as described using "size:0"

However, "prop:#empty:2" works regardless (any builds in the past couple of months).
