:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Auto-complete path/file names

Post by JML13 »

I have activated "Auto-complete path/file names" for Address Bar.

If I write "C" or "C:" in the address bar, the auto-complete mechanism propose to me "C:/" (instead of "C:\") and if I hit enter at this time I have the error "Couldn't find location C:/"

And the drop-down list shows me many entries like "file:///c:/..........". If I select one of them, XY opens an explorer window (for folders) or the associated program (for files).

Is it a normal behaviour ? Or have I something that is not correct in my configuration ?

This is indeed normal behavior. Explorer does it just the same. At least here.

Yes, you're right.
And do you know how to disable that in explorer (but I do not want to disable auto-complete mechanism) ?
