[X] in the Live Filter box (solved)

Hi Don, any chance you could add a close/clear button to the live filter box? I know you can click in it and press escape, but that's still two actions, would be convenient to simply be able to clear it with a single click.

You can simply press Esc if you Type Ahead Find enabled. If not, you can click on the X that comes on the Live filter info box

I do not ever have an X that appears in the LFB, focused or not.

I did discover though thanks to your tip that if you have "Redirect typing to Live Filter Box" checked then you can press Esc despite the LFB being unfocused, so that does help. It would still be a nice UI enhancement to add a visible close button to the LFB.

Its there in Live Filter Info Bar that comes on top of the list. I guess you have it disabled

Setting > Filters & Type Ahead Find

Tick Show Filter Information in List

Thanks, I did not notice the x in the listview header. That's what I am looking for, but it's not as intuitive as if it were in the LFB itself (thus, why I never noticed it before). That does the trick, thank you.

I trust Don is going to change the looks of the x in coming days. BTW, you can even double click anywhere on the bar to close it.
