OK, now I tested it in Win10 and voilà, there it is! So I guess I can fix it now. I curious what mysterious difference is causing it...
However, I cannot confirm that setting that value to non-null fixes it. Nor does folder size caching have any influence. But showing folder sizes seems to be the crucial thing.
BTW, I also noted that the configuration dialog looks too small on my Win10 notebook. There is another thing to be fixed...

Awesome, finally you found the bug.
I tried to send you PM to show you cache folder size is related to the bug. However, it also has a size limit for the attachment. The .gif file is only 4 MB
