Please auto rotate a video if it was recorded upside down. This includes the preview playback and the thumbnail. Example, I used my phone to record an upside down .MP4 video because it was easier to hold my phone that way during the recording, but XYplorer is not smart enough to auto rotate the video back to normal like my phone's player or my computer's player. Please fix.
NOTE: My computer's player, Zoom Player MAX, is able to auto rotate the video because it uses the madVR video renderer.

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.
When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

Re: Auto rotate a video if it was recorded upside down...
For me XY does this already.
I guess this depends of what Codecs your system has installed.
I have the K-Lite codec package installed which includes Icaros for the thumbnails.
The preview pane rotates the IPhone mp4 videos correctly and also the thumbnails are fine.

I guess its not the OS what matters, its the codecs you have installed
and what preview handler is resposible for .mp4

Not tested ..
I guess the program you use to preview mp4 files does not respect the metadata that was added to your mp4.
You can use exiftool to show all the saved metadata for that file.
It will show a line
