Stripping characters using bulk rename, not regex

Post by GUIguy »

I have a bunch of folders in one directory that have different names but each name is appended with "-01"

How can I use the bulk rename function to just end up with the folder name without the "-01"?
I'm not a regex person.

Thanks to all...and be safe...

File > Rename Special > Search and Replace...
-01/ (nothing after the slash)

Dang! I didn't even know about that menu option. It worked perfectly...

This program is so robust, it's almost a life's work to use all it's features! :appl:
