X-close button on tab option

Don, there are numerous options in Configuration for Show X close Buttons on Tabs, but there one that I think would be more useful, that is, Show X close button on tab - "Unlocked tab on hover". Another option might be simply - "Unlocked tabs". Though that may possibly look odd to see the button displayed on unlocked tabs only. Most people don't have a desire to close pinned tabs at least not on a regular basis. Unpinned tabs are another matter. I think it might be a useful option to show the X close button only when hovering an unlocked tab. Thanks.

Yes, might make sense. Though I don't see a big problem with the current state of affairs. What's so bad about seeing an X-close button when hovering a locked tab?

It's not a huge deal obviously. I've always had "Never" selected for that tab option to show X close button. So for me it would be nice on one hand to see the X-close on the unlocked tabs when hovering, but I really don't care to see them poking up on locked tabs whenever I go to select them or happen to hover over them.
