Making XYP default for File Explorer interferes w IE saving

Post by lenraphael »

Not sure, but appears that after I made XYP the default replacement for File Explorer, that when I save files from web apps that use IE to OneDrive, a large percentage of the time the files don't actually download. No error. Just not downloaded.

I mostly save to OneDrive and so haven't tested with SharePoint or local drives.

Not a OD synching problem, because the files are not in the local OD folder (or the cloud OD)

Have searched and no sign of the files.

Interesting, never heard of this problem. Looks like in that case the saving app should have hard-coded the job to Explorer. Usually we had that problem the other way round (apps were too hard-coded to Explorer).

I don't think there is any chance to solve this apart from un-making XY the default file manager. :|
