Re: Reset zoom (after ctrl+mouse)
hi
it's hard to add this feature?
i mean "hard" because the program code does not allow to add a reset

Miscellaneous | Layout | Reset Zoom
You can add Ctrl+0 as keyboard shortcut.

Re: Reset zoom (after ctrl+mouse)
It is a command not a setting, so Help/List All Commands and then search for zoom:
Btw: Ctrl+0 seems to be the standard keyboard shortcut already.Ralph

Re: Reset zoom (after ctrl+mouse)
hi , ok !
i found but thanking you , with the help i haven't found
but again why dont' add in the preferenes?
many users could mess up and they have to come in the forum or spend hours reading the help menu
for the good of xyplorer could be added in the preferences?
just think a new user ...
thanks
Re: Reset zoom (after ctrl+mouse)
Usually the zoom features are 3 commands in a menu : Zoom in, zoom out, reset zoom.
It doesn't make much sense to me to add this in the settings. But I agree that those 3 commands should be in a menu (View), in order to be more discoverable than in "Help | List All Commands".

i get that it doesn't make sense to you ,but think about a novice user or someone that wants to try xyplorer
and mess up with the mouse wheel
well ? what will it happen?
he/she will uninstall or delete the program!
seeing how many program are out , after a while searching in the help well he will give up
just give a look to free and portable file manager
maybe the developer could take in consideration and add in the preferences
Re: Reset zoom (after ctrl+mouse)
I agree with you, which is why I propose to add a new menu to control the zoom.
As I said, those commands are usually available for the user through a menu, not in the settings window.

Re: Reset zoom (after ctrl+mouse)
I doubt very much that novice users would find a setting/menu to reset the font size any easier than the current possibility to reset.
Agree though that maybe Ctrl+Wheel for changing font size should be disabled in factory settings/fresh config.

But Ctrl+Wheel is so known now from browsers, isn't it?
