Most likely an easy fix. Even though there is lots of space the file names are shorten. for example if the files are:
An example of a long file name.jpg
movie.2019.1080p.aripedthisformyharddrive.mkv
Will show up like:
An example of a l...
movie.2019.108...
How do I choose to have it display the whole file name?
Thanks
Full File Name

Re: Full File Name
Thanks, I found this work around last night, switching from list view to detail view, changing the length and then switching back to list view.
This works well enough; I was hoping there was a way to have the full file name in list view [when there is a lot of white space] and truncated in detail view

Tick this for direct control in List view:
Configuration | General | Sort and Rename | Sort | Show sort headers in all views
