:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

File system unknown on MP3 player but WE says FAT32

Post by j_c_hallgren »

Had an issue tonight where XY and WE handled the situation differently:
Using a COBY MP3 USB player MP-C827 which is a USB flash drive on steroids (meaning it's a simple/primitive player!) and was trying to copy some MP3 files to it...XY wouldn't copy the full name and gave me the "Select Filename" dialog...so..looked at drive properties, and XY reported file system "Unknown", so that is why the copy failed...ok, but Win Expl reports the drive as FAT32 and had no problem with the copy... :?

BTW, I'll be out of town for next 3 days so my access here will be spotty.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.
