Made a little research, and things look better now. I can indeed customize the colors of buttons, scrollbars etc...

And since File Explorer just came out with an optional Dark Theme, I thought it's the right time to have that here too. So, XYplorer Dark Theme is coming...

This is probably the most exciting new feature from the last months. When working on PC 10+hours / day, you quickly feel that dark themes are very welcomed.

Some is Windows, the rest is XY.

It's still in the making... this is not a small feature... you will be informed when it's there.

Some parts of the UI is just dependent on the OS theme. I think that may be a limitation of VB6. It's not WPF or anything.
But with the dark OS theme, you can get a pretty decent looking dark theme going:

It's an actual screenshot. I'm using Windows 8.1 with the Penumbra custom theme. Then it's just the list and tree background colors changed to match the theme.

But as I said, you need a dark OS theme to get a good looking dark XY look. It would still be nice to be able to 'dark theme' XY independent of the the OS.
