Version: 19.00.0008
In the past I could right-click any (image) file icon to show it in an pop-up (mouse down blow up). Now I have to select the file first.
With left-click it works as always, without selecting the file first.
And on thumbnails I have to hold the right mouse button a little bit longer. I think in the past it also worked with a simple (short) right-click.

Re: Problem with right-click on file icon
1. Cannot reproduce.
2. That's true. It was necessary to add a little wait (150 msecs) to allow for correct dragging-by-the-thumb with the right mouse.

Re: Problem with right-click on file icon
1. I've just tested a fresh install and there the problem doesn't occur. I've tested a lot and after enabling "Full Row Select" the problem is back.

Re: Problem with right-click on file icon
Honestly, I think the delay is unfortunate. Mouse Down Blowup is one of XYplorer's premier features and the delay on the right click can be annoying. Personally I think you should have not alloyed right click dragging of a file from the the thumbnail. We drag and drop from the filename everywhere else (i.e., in other views) why loosen the requirement just because there's a thumbnail present or because someone doesn't want to take the extra milliseconds of time to grab the filename instead of the thumbnail. I wish you would make it how it was before. You drag and drop files only by the filename not the thumbnail so that we get a responsive MDBU on right click again. It may be the same with the normal left MDBU, but in that case it's not noticeable since most hold the mouse down anyway for the blow up to occur. Thanks Don.admin wrote:2. That's true. Re: Problem with right-click on file icon
I second Ken's wish here (make it like it was before) or configurable via tweaks / config options
Imho the old behavior should be the default here...

Re: Problem with right-click on file icon
Hmm, 150 ms should not be such a big problem. I still think the current solution is an improvement.

Re: Problem with right-click on file icon
You wouldn't think it would be that big a deal, but that 150 msecs results in having to hold the right mouse button down just long enough that it becomes irritating when you do a normal quick right click and nothing happens especially when it used to. I can see being able to select the file(s) by normal left clicking on the thumbnail or filename, but why not force file movements from the filename itself? Possibly the only exception being if the user has no filenames displayed (i.e., Show captions in Configuration is unchecked).

Re: Problem with right-click on file icon
Thought about it, played with it, and yes, yoi are right: 150 msecs make a notable difference. So I removed it by default (for left and right click) and added a tweak for those who want it back.

Re: Problem with right-click on file icon
Thanks Don, so much more responsive on the right click MDBU now.
