[solved] no more custom items in shell context menu

Post by lian00 »

Hello, I’m with XY 18.90.0126 and I discovered that Custom Items in shell context menu are not showing anymore for some reason - everything is correctly ticked. How may I fix this and what I need to check ?

It is probably this:

Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | 64-bit Windows | Show the 64-bit context menu

it needs to be disabled.

Yes, you are right. I remember I needed the 64 bits menu. ô

I cannot find any other way to access the special rename feature.

File | Rename Special

or add the Rename toolbar button and right click it, also if you only temporarily need the 64bit context menu you can press Ctrl+RightClick keyboard button (usually placed to the right of the spacebar) if you have it disabled.

Thanks for all these tips! I wonder how I did not see the entry under File.
