:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Tip Of the Day buttons with misleading labels?

Post by j_c_hallgren »

In 6.30.28, the Random button was added so other navigation buttons needed to be reduced...fine, I understand...but now they are "<<" and ">>" which is most often interpreted as being "Rewind"/"Go to Start" and "Go To End", whereas "<" and ">" would be Prev & Next...

Isn't there enough room to have "<Prev" and "Next>" instead? As there isn't any reason why Previous needs to be spelled out, IMO.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

Ah yes. "<" and ">" is good.

There's never enough room. Not when fonts are configurable and ideas are queueing in mind...
