Custom icon column as labels

Hi,

the custom icon column is a column with icons on it like labels, this can be combined with labels, you create a collection of icons and you assign it to the column but only icons will be shown

Collection of Icon
Priority
Not Priority
__________
Approved
Pending
Not Approved


then if you want to label it to a file or folder, you get something like

Filename, icon label
paperworks.doc,
design.pdf,

What's the use of labels (Priority, ...) when they are neither shown nor put into the item's tag?
Sounds like a lose-lose situation...

Labeling (I assume you mean tagging?) does only work the other way round (for scripted custom colums), you tag the item
and the custom column shows the belonging icon (in this case: the icon from the tag) otherwise the custom column
would need to show all available icons together (which probably nobody would want).

But in general the whole thing can be done via scripting (the tagging via a selectable list
of icons and a custom column that shows it)...
