:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Save Configuration As

Post by msalvatori »

I can save XY's configuration within XY's program path. However, I am unable to save it to C:\Data\XYplorer\.

The note on the title bar of the "Save As" dialog says "must be .ini file located in app path" and as I understand it, that is to maintain portability...so if you want to make a copy yourself, you can do so, but I don't think the built-in Save As/Save Copy will allow it.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

Thank you for pointing that out. It makes me realize how little I pay attention to title bars.
