Apply Hide extention to all directories

Hi and sorry for my english

I usually explore files without the extentions in the filename because i have the extentions column
I see that i can hide extentions in XY in tools and customize list, but i don't know to apply this to all directories.

Another question:
I use 3 monitors, and when i open the settings, the windows always show up in another screen, not on the screen where the program is open
Is it a bug ?

Normally XY remembers the position of this window. What happens when you move the option window
manually to the current monitor, close it and XY, restart XY, open options window?

still not on the monitor where XY is open
It is on the left monitor.
Open settings, window on the right screen.
Move it to the left screen where XY is. Close.
Open XY, open settings, windows is on the center screen

Did you save your settings before you quit XY (after moving the options window)?

You need to do that to let XY remember it

XY is always on "save settings on exit"
Edit: and even if i use File>save settings and reopen XY, the settings windows is always on another monitor

And another last question:
When i close XY and reopen it, all tabs are still open.
How can i do to close all tabs if i want to when i exit XY, except the default tab ?
I just want that XY open on C: or D: on each start and don't remember all previous tabs

Mh, it works fine on my dual monitor setup...

Regarding your second question

Three ways:
1. Open only the C: drive and close all other tabs
Save settings
Make sure automatic save settings is off
Never save your settings again, or at least, not if you have other tabs open

2. Leave everything as it is and call XY with command line parameters (e.g. through the icon properties)

3. Use a permanent startup path in
Configuration | General | Startup & Exit | Permanent startup path

and forget all tabs by using
Configuration | General | Startup & Exit | Include most-recently-used lists on save | Apply to...

Wouldn't it be easier to set a permanent startup path in Options/Start-Up & Exit together with the options for the pane setup just underneath that setting?
