Delete a Tag permanently

Hello,
I have a little problem, I have create a tag "prova" but I do not want to use it anymore.
I'm not able to delete this tag because it is always present in the tags list.
How to delete the tag from the list of the tags?

Menu - Tools - List Management - Tag List...

There you can delete the tag. But this does NOT delete
the tag from files!

Then you use the search (CTRL+F), search for that tag, select the files, Menu - Favorites - Tags - Remove All Tags (if it is the only one)
