Good morning all,
I finally pulled the trigger over the weekend and have made XY (lifetime) my default File Manager on all my workstations. I have become pretty comfortable with everything that I need so far, so the time was right. Next step is wife-conversion...
I do quite a bit of drag-and-drop of files into "folder shortcuts" and had gotten into the habit of dragging w/the right mouse button. This way in Explorer, I would see the menu of Copy/Move/etc. vs. the default action. In XY, if I drag-and-drop using the left mouse button, it defaults to "copy mode" - perfect. If I drag-and-drop using the right mouse button, I get a small "Invoke Shell Drop" menu. If I click that, I see the full context menu. Not a big deal, but an extra click.
Can the mini-menu be suppressed and go directly into the "shell drop" menu ? or is this a safety feature of some sort ?

I initially posted the same reply but VeeGee is specifically talking about the menu shown when right-dropping items on shortcuts.admin wrote:Yes, untick this: Configuration | Menus, Mouse, Safety | Context Menus | Custom drag and drop context menu
In that scenario you get this tiny and pointless menu:

Ah, that one! Indeed a bit weird. I think I can safely and unconditionally remove that little extra step. Next beta...
