In the past before doing an upgrade when they became available always manually backed up C:\Program Files (x86)\XYplorer\ and C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\XYplorer\. What is the most advantageous way to incorporate this into a script before the SC of update; ?

Am aware there are those who will assert this is superfluous for an Official Release by life's sojourn has taught it is wise to employ an abundance of caution.
