Hide Folders in List also changes the tree

Post by peterbonge »

If I enable "Hide Folders in List" I'm not able to open subfolders via the tree anymore. I just can open the folders I can currently see in the list.

And if I disable "Hide Folders in List" I have to refresh the tree to be able to open subfolders.

I'd have to go with "Huh?" as well.

You must have confused something here : how could you see folders in list with option "Hide Folders in List" enabled ??

My fault. I wanted to say: I just can open the folders I can currently see in the tree.

I've just noticed that (if folders are hidden) if I select a rarely used folder in the tree the plus sign in front of the folder just disappears. If I directly click on the plus sign (without selecting the folder first) it works without problems. And if I select the drive and refresh the tree all plus signs are comming back.

Oh yes. If "Check existence of subfolders in tree" is OFF then there is indeed the issue you describe. Interesting, thanks!

EDIT: Fixed.
