Recycle Bin doesn't auto refresh for deleted folders...

Post by ghost zero »

New bug in 16.60. I'm using dual pane mode with Recycle Bin in other pane. When I delete a folder [not file] to the Recycle Bin, the Recycle Bin doesn't auto refresh to show it, so I have to manually refresh. Please fix.

In one pane mode, when I delete a folder or file to the Recycle Bin and then empty the Recycle bin, these folder or file are still shown in the Recycle Bin, they disappear only after changing the tab location and returning back or after manually refreshing.

What's wrong when you restore? The icon?

the problem now is that Recycle Bin doesn't auto refresh after restoring a deleted item.

Don't see that issue here (Win8/10). There are so many factors here, and Windows changes the rules with each release. Sigh.

i'm on windows 7 x64. i did more tests to reproduce the bug. the auto refresh bug during restoring from recycle bin behaves differently for folders vs files.

files...
tested by deleting and restoring a .txt file. recycle bin doesn't auto refresh.

folders...
tested by deleting and restoring a folder. the recycle bin auto refreshes, but the other pane sometimes doesn't auto refresh.

On my system this bug never went away completely (Win 8.1). Is there something that I can do to help debugging? Besides reproducing, because I can't find a reliable way to do so...
