I would like to know when you select a drive or a directory on the TREE listing can you have it auto close all other branches that are open. I tried that auto optimize tree but that really doesn't work the way I thought it would.
Thanks
Chuck

Why not? Actually it does what you're asking for...I tried that auto optimize tree but that really doesn't work the way I thought it would.

It acts someone strange to me. If I click on a folder rather than the drive letter it will no auto close only if I click on drive letter first.highend wrote:Why not? Actually it does what you're asking for...I tried that auto optimize tree but that really doesn't work the way I thought it would.
Make sense?

Re: Auto Close Branches of Trees
This is actually working for me (e.g. I expand two drives and if I click on a folder in the second drive, the first drive's tree collapses and the other way round).
When I try this with a ::fresh; version it doesn't work the same way... Maybe I've applied a tweak but I'm too tired to look that up atm...

Thanks for the response. I will still fool around with it.

Re: Auto Close Branches of Trees
Could the tweak be AutoOptimizeTreeRadical=1
There's both a AutoOptimizeTree=1 and AutoOptimizeTreeRadical=1
; Tweak: set to 1 to optimize the tree on each location change
AutoOptimizeTreeRadical=1
+ Tweak to activate a hardcore version of "Auto-Optimize Tree":
[Settings]
AutoOptimizeTreeRadical=1
Set to 1 to optimize the tree on each location change.

That worked well... Thank you
