Option to add exclude files in Find files
Currently we have exclude folders only. It will be nice if we have exclude files also.

Re: Option to add exclude files in Find files
Are you thinking of wildcard patterns to exclude certain types or do you want to exclude specific files?Tamil wrote:Currently we have exclude folders only. It will be nice if we have exclude files also.

Re: Option to add exclude files in Find files
We might include excluded files into the excluded folders list (then renamed to "Excluded Items") Folders would have to have a trailing slash to be recognized as folders.Tamil wrote:Wildcard pattern with folder name.admin wrote:Are you thinking of wildcard patterns to exclude certain types or do you want to exclude specific files?

Re: Option to add exclude files in Find files
Excluding files however will slow down search (even if no files are excluded -- hardly notable but a bit). I'll think about it...Tamil wrote:Okay.admin wrote:We might include excluded files into the excluded folders list (then renamed to "Excluded Items") Folders would have to have a trailing slash to be recognized as folders.
