Message box to confirm file delete is hidden

Post by myrnalarson »

RE: (1) I do NOT suppress the confirmation box. (2) Deletions are set to 'backgrounded'

Sometimes the program slows to a crawl, and I see that deleting a single file has been 'processing' for more than 5 minutes. I eventually discover there's a dialog box waiting for me to confirm the deletion, but this dialog box comes up BEHIND the main window. Shouldn't this be on top?

It's Windows bug, or mabye a feature. I never found a way to work around it.

And, any way to supress deletion warning for paths > 260 chars.

FYI, untick this and the problem should disappear for good:

Configuration | File Operations | Miscellaneous | File operation progress dialog modeless
